Like natural botanicals with its rich history in traditional uses, farm-sourced beef tallow has been used in skincare and food for centuries.

What are Sunnah Ingredients?

Sunnah Ingredients are simple the natural products (food, herbs, remedies) used by Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) and his companions for daily nutrition and holistic health in the Islamic tradition.

Modern science has now done extensive research on many of these products including Black seed, Raw Honey, Olive Oil, and Qust Ul Bahri and have discovered an endless stream of benefits.

Why Use Sunnah Ingredients?

After researching common modern skincare ingredients and comparing it to classical/traditional recipes, there is so much lacking and today’s world. The Prophet (PBUH) lived 1400 years ago, at a time when classical medicine and knowledge was the norm.

Something he practiced was the idea of balance. Balancing dry and moist, and hot and cold, especially when it comes to food. In our soaps, butters, and face-masks found within our Sacred Sunnah Box, we strive to use his approach in order to provide your skin with balanced products that we innately respond best to.

Each Sunnah ingredient that we incorporate in our box was beloved by the Prophet (PBUH) and has been shown (by modern research) to help with not one, but a range of skin-related issues. Their holistic nature and ability to target several concerns is another benefit of using these ingredients.

While not explicitly a Sunnah ingredients, we also use Farm Fresh Milk and Halal & Grassfed/finished Beef Tallow which are mentioned in the Quran in relation to the cattle they are derived from, and have roots in ancient traditions.
