Tallow Butters & Oil Infusions

We keep our tallow products & oils completely natural & preservative-free, to keep them as healing & beneficial for your skin as possible!

SHELF-LIFE: 8-12 months if stored in a cool, dry place, away from excessive moisture and heat (longer if stored in the fridge [tallow butters]).

We recommend storing both butters and oils in a cool, dark, dry place to preserve its texture. Butters can also be stored in the fridge to preserve its shelf life.

It is also important to use clean & dry hands when using these products, as introducing moisture can drastically shorten its shelf life.

Since tallow is a natural fat, it is temperature sensitive. It can soften, and even melt in warm temperatures. Sudden drops in temperature can also create a slight grainy-ness, which usually dissolves when applied onto the skin, as well as when temperatures re-stabilize.

Note: texture changes DO NOT change the benefits and properties of the actual product! It’s simply a change in consistency.

Tallow Soaps

Fun Face, soaps don’t go bad! They can reduce in scent over time, but soap does not typically become harmful to use with time. To preserve scent, effectiveness, and consistency, store unused soap in a cool, dry place.

Tallow makes a nice hard bar of soap, however we still recommend not leaving used soap in a pool of water. Use a soap dish or hanging bad to keep intact.
